This piece illustrates the transition between day and evening through the progression of the mouse across the canvas, ultimately involving the observer in choosing which stage of the day they would like to view. Throughout one’s tour of the site, several types of interactivity have been shown, mainly the observer being able to create or modify the piece. Daylight displays a unique kind of interactivity. In this piece, the observer is given the ability to guide the progression and development of the work rather than the creation. This proves the various ways generative art allows for the inclusion of multiple artists and designers in the piece.
